The Georgian police special forces have completely pushed the protesters from the Rustaveli Avenue in Tbilisi, TASS reports.
The police once again had to use tear gas. Several people were apprehended; the protestors did not resist the enforcement officers.
The standoff between the protesters and the police on the Rustaveli Avenue lasted throughout the night. The protesters burned dumpsters and wooded chairs trying to create a barrier between themselves and the police. Clashes sparked sporadically; the police had to use water cannons and tear gas.
