The administration of US President Joe Biden is beginning a new phase of work to reach an agreement between Israel and the Hamas group on a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, national security adviser Jake Sullivan said on Wednesday.
He added that Biden plans to cooperate with Turkey, Qatar, Egypt and other countries in the region to this end.
As a result of the agreement reached between the Israeli military and the Lebanese's Hezbollah, military operations in Lebanon have also been suspended as of today.
