The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry has criticized the Polish President's visit to the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
"The visit of Polish President Andrzej Duda to the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, accompanied by members of the EU Mission to Armenia (EUMA), unfortunately, once again demonstrates the anti-Azerbaijani policy of various EU member states and European institutions.
We deeply regret that the President of a country that is officially a strategic partner of Azerbaijan participated in an unacceptable "telescope show", which leads to aggravation of relations between Azerbaijan and Poland. Despite numerous appeals by Azerbaijani officials to the Polish Presidential Administration and the Foreign Ministry, the Polish side did not refrain from this provocative step," the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The Ministry also noted that Azerbaijan reserves the right to take appropriate diplomatic measures against this "unfriendly action."
