Starting January 1, 2025, Poland will assume the presidency of the Council of the European Union, and one of our top priorities will be to undertake all the actions directed toward us. When we speak about visa liberalization, this is directly connected to decisions made by EU institutions. Poland will also have the opportunity to make decisions in this regard. We have made these declarations clearly. Polish President Andrzej Duda made these remarks during a joint press conference with the President of Armenia, responding to a question about Poland's potential contribution to the visa liberalization process, which officially launched this year between Armenia and the European Union.
"Please also remember that the EU is a union of consensus, and final decisions require the approval of the majority of EU member states. However, regarding our commitments, we will certainly do our utmost to fulfill them," he stated.
