Amid the deployment of a new Russian missile, the Ukrainian President has instructed the defense minister to hold meetings with Kyiv's counterparts and discuss the possibility of acquiring additional air defense systems.
“We need systems that are capable of protecting people from new risks,” Volodymyr Zelensky added.
He accused Moscow of undermining the prospects for peace. Zelensky also accused a number of countries, including China, of calling for restraint instead of putting pressure on Russia.
“In response, we see new escalations from Russia,” the Ukrainian President expressed concern.
