Israel launched multiple strikes on a number of targets in Lebanon on Friday, including southern suburbs of Beirut and its neighboring areas, Reuters reports.
The targets included residential buildings in Haret Hreik and Kafaat in southern Beirut, and Hadath Municipality in Mount Lebanon Governorate.
Earlier, the Israel Defense Force issued an evacuation order, requiring people in three buildings and their adjacent areas in Haret Hreik to withdraw and keep at least 500 meters away from the buildings.
The death toll from Israeli attacks on Lebanon in the latest round of Israel-Hezbollah conflict that broke out on Oct 8, 2023 climbed to 3,583, with injuries rising to 15,244, said Lebanon's Ministry of Public Health on Thursday.
On Thursday alone, 25 people were killed and 121 were injured in the conflict, the ministry reported.
