Russian air defense systems deflected that attacks with Western-made missiles, and the enemy was unable to achieve its goals, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in a televised address, TASS reports.
"Our defense systems deflected these attacks," the head of state said. "As a result, the goals that the enemy apparently set have not been achieved."
