France has reiterated support for the Nagorno-Karabakh Armenians’ right to return.
French Ambassador to Armenia Olivier Decottignies has highlighted the ICJ decision made a year ago.
“On November 17, 2023, the International Court of Justice stipulated the right of the Armenians, who forcibly left Nagorno-Karabakh, to return home.
One year later, this judgement aimed at Azerbaijan remains unfulfilled. France doesn’t forget anything and will not concede anything in protecting their right to return, as well as their cultural and religious heritage,” the Ambassador said on X.
