Minister of Internal Affairs of Armenia Vahe Ghazaryan has tendered his resignation, his spokesperson Narek Sargsyan confirmed.
“I confirm that the minister has tendered his resignation,” Sargsyan told 'Lurer'.
Ghazaryan was appointed the Minister of Internal Affairs on January 9, 2023, before the formation of the Ministry, he was the Chief of Armenia's Police since June 8, 2020.
Ghazaryan’s resignation comes after the resignations of Supreme Judicial Council Chairman Karen Andreasyan and Anti-Corruption Committee Chairman Sasun Khachatryan.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, in a statement issued on Monday, said he asked the high-ranking officials to resign.
