Russian President Vladimir Putin had a phone conversation with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, the Office of the President of Russia reports.
The parties discussed issues of practical implementation of several mutually beneficial projects in the fields of industry and transportation, taking into account the recent communications of Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin in Baku.
Putin and Aliyev confirmed their mutual interest in further developing the strategic partnership and allied relations between Moscow and Baku.
According to the Kremlin, the presidents agreed to continue contacts at various levels.
