Within the framework of his working visit to Switzerland, President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan met with the Director General of the International Labour Organization (ILO), Gilbert Houngbo.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the protection of labor rights, social security, as well as implementation of programs aimed at economic development.
President Khachaturyan emphasized that the Armenian Government values cooperation with the ILO and is ready to actively participate in the formation of the international labor agenda.
Houngbo, for his part, expressed satisfaction with the high level of their cooperation with the Armenian Government, and noted that the ILO was ready to assist Armenia's development programs, particularly in ensuring permanent and decent labor conditions.
