Russia is ready to listen to US President-elect Donald Trump's proposals on Ukraine, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov said in an interview with Interfax.
He emphasized that Moscow approaches with great attention and responsibility any ideas offered by the countries regarding this issue. According to Ryabkov, if the proposals of the West are aimed at the settlement of the conflict, and not at supporting Kyiv and preparing the strategic defeat of Russia, then Moscow will be ready to discuss these proposals and develop a response.
The Russian Deputy Foreign Minister added that the threat of severing diplomatic relations with the United States remains in case of the confiscation of frozen Russian assets and the escalation of the situation in Ukraine.
