A protest march of opposition parties and citizens started from the area adjacent to "Marjanishvili" metro station, Georgian Public Broadcaster reports.
Leaders and members of "Unity - National Movement" and "Strong Georgia" coalition are already on the spot.
As the participants of the rally say, they will join the procession that left from the "State University" metro station.
On the spot, the participants of the rally have unfurled the banner - "Wake up Georgia", as well as the flags of Georgia, the European Union and Ukraine.
“Give us back the seized motherland, Georgia is ours and we are heading toward Europe,” said Nika Gvaramia, leader of the Coalition for Changes at the protest rally.
Gvaramia called on the government and ruling party representatives to return what they seized from Georgian citizens.
“You should remember that you serve Georgia, leave alone Bidzina Ivanishvili, he will go and you will stay. Look into the eyes of your children, wives, husbands, neighbours, friends, and compatriots. Give back the seized motherland to us, Georgia is ours and we are heading toward Europe,” he said.
