Armenia hopes to eventually achieve full normalization with Turkey, including full opening of the land border, Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan has said.
“We hope that eventually it will be possible to achieve with Turkey not only the implementation of the agreements reached previously, but also full normalization of relations between the two countries, including the establishment of diplomatic relations and full opening of the border,” Kostanyan said.
Amid the ongoing normalization process, Armenia and Turkey agreed in 2022 to open the land border for citizens of third countries and diplomatic passport holders. The agreement is yet to be implemented.
