US Former President Donald Trump has secured a second presidential term, defeating Vice President Kamala Harris, US media reports.
Trump won more than the necessary electoral votes needed to defeat Harris, outperforming the vice president in key battleground states like Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Michigan.
In Tennessee, the former president received 64% of the vote, according to the Associated Press.
Trump's win is considered one of the most remarkable comebacks in political history, reported USA TODAY. The win comes after he falsely claimed election fraud during the 2020 election, was convicted on felony charges and survived two assassination attempts.

The next inauguration ceremony will be held on Monday, Jan. 20, 2025 at the U.S. Capitol building in Washington D.C.
The swearing-in ceremony begins at noon.
Planned by the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies (JCCIC), events include the swearing-in, the inaugural address and the pass in review. Previous performers and speakers have included Beyoncé, Lady Gaga and Amanda Gorman.
There are other events leading up to and after the inauguration, including the Inaugural Parade and the Inaugural Balls.
