Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Nobel Peace Prize laureate Kailash Satyarthi.
The Prime Minister welcomed his visit to Armenia and his participation in the international conference "Road to social justice: decent work" held in Yerevan. Nikol Pashinyan highly appreciated the activities of Kailash Satyarthi in the direction of combating child exploitation and access to public education, emphasizing that steps aimed at protecting children's rights are in the center of attention of the Armenian Government.
The Prime Minister emphasized that the protection and realization of children's right to education in Armenia, as well as providing equal opportunities for education, is one of the key goals of the state education policy.
Kailash Satyarthi thanked for the warm welcome and invitation to the conference held in Yerevan. Kailash Satyarthi highly appreciated the child-centered policy implemented by the Armenian Government. The Nobel Peace Prize laureate expressed willingness to continue cooperation in the social sphere, including sharing experience in protecting children's rights.
