During the session of the UN Security Council, Saeid Iravani, Iranian envoy to the UN, said that as a result of the Israeli attack, in addition to four soldiers, one civilian was killed.
He expressed his belief that the UN Security Council should clearly condemn and take decisive action against Israel for its attacks against Iran and its ongoing operations in Palestine, Lebanon, Syria and Yemen. The official accused the United States of applying double standards and supporting Israel. Iravani also noted that Israel is responsible for aggravating the situation.
The Iranian official noted that the countries of the region should realize their individual and collective responsibility in maintaining peace.
According to Iravani, according to Article 51 of the UN Charter, Tehran has the right to respond to an aggressive action against it.
