Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, Lt. general Edward Asryan said he agrees with Prime Minister Pashinyan that the territories of Armenia currently under Azeri occupation must be taken back through peaceful delimitation and not militarily.
“Indeed, I definitely agree with what our prime minister has said, because there is a delimitation process, and as part of the delimitation process it is envisaged to restore Armenia’s sovereign territory in the corresponding borders,” the general said when asked by reporters to comment on the PM’s statement.
Asked whether he was sure that this will be possible, the general said, “Yes, I am sure. It is possible through peaceful delimitation processes.”
