The Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze stated that the Georgian people made a clear choice for peace and the country’s development, envisioning a bright European future, Georgian Public Broadcaster reports.
Kobakhidze expressed gratitude to everyone involved in the Georgian Dream election campaign:
“I want to thank the Georgian people, the voters, and society for standing by us during the most challenging times. Elections are crucial moments in any country’s life, and even in these significant moments, the Georgian people made a clear choice.
I appreciate everyone involved in our election campaign; we established 73 headquarters across the country, with many contributing to voter mobilization and agitation. Each person’s contribution to our victory is invaluable.
We received approximately 1,120,000 votes, a record since 2012. We communicated to the public that this election was as critical as a referendum and on par with the 2012 election in importance. This message resonated with voters, reflected in the unprecedented turnout at the parliamentary elections. Our victory is remarkable,” said Kobakhidze.
