The Iranian newspaper Tasnim denied the news that Israel targeted 20 objects, stating that their number was less. It was also denied that 100 Israeli planes were involved in the operation. The spokesman of the Iranian oil refinery denied that the plant was also targeted by Israel, emphasizing that the plant continues its work as usual.
