Armenia's President Vahagn Khachaturyan signed a decree on appointing a permanent representative of the Republic of Armenia in the Council of Europe.
"Based on the recommendation of the Prime Minister in accordance with Article 132, Part 1, Clause 2 of the Constitution, as well as Article 13, Part 3 and Article 14 of the Law on Diplomatic Service.
To appoint Armen Papikyan as the permanent representative of the Republic of Armenia in the Council of Europe (residence: Strasbourg)," the decree says.
By another decree of the President, Arman Khachatryan was recalled from the position of permanent representative of the Republic of Armenia in the Council of Europe, and was appointed the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to France.
