US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mark Libby met today with opposition figure Gubad Ibadoghlu and expressed concern about his state of health. This was reported by the US Embassy in Baku.
"The United States calls on Azerbaijan to fulfill its international obligations in the field of human rights, to lift the restrictions imposed on Dr. Ibadoghlu, and to release all those unjustly arrested," the Embassy said in a statement.
