We have a strategy, and that strategy is as follows: in the security sector, in general, the basis of our strategies should be legitimacy, and we follow that strategy, and what the National Assembly ratified today, I think should be according to let's appreciate that event, because it is an extremely important event, because with it we recorded the principles of delimitation of the borders of Armenia's territories, legitimate territories, and these principles must be implemented. Armenia's Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said this in the National Assembly, answering the question of Levon Kocharyan, deputy of 'Hayastan' (Armenia) faction, about the dangers of border delimitation.
"It is clear that both inside and outside of Armenia there will be views, opinions, there will be certain deliberate actions to deviate us from our strategy, we will not deviate from that strategy, but at the same time we will also take into account, we will listen to all possible arguments, all possible concerns. However, I must also record that the approved regulation provides for all the mechanisms to address all these concerns, and, in general, I must also record that the regulation not only defines the possibility of partial delimiation, but also that the delimitation process, in fact, ends with a complete delimitation process.
It cannot be otherwise, because every part must be delimited, this delimitation must be recorded in some way and to carry out further processes. And what happened in the previous period in Kirants, Voskepar area, there are different assessments, my assessment is that it is a very big and very serious success, first of all in the security field, because we remember how everyone said how children will go to school in Kirants village of Tavush province.
Children in Kirants village in Tavush province go to school with pleasure and a sense of security, and going to school in Kirants has not been safer in the last 35 years than it is today. We want to continue the solution of this problem, we want to create this situation for all the border settlements of Armenia," said Nikol Pashinyan.
