Seven Israeli citizens of Azerbaijani origin have been arrested on suspicion of spying for Iran. According to reports, over the past two years, they allegedly carried out around 600 missions, providing information on Israel’s strategic sites, which were later targeted by Iranian missile strikes.
The suspects, including two minors, were detained on September 19, and they will soon face charges of espionage and collaboration with the enemy. The coordination with Iran was reportedly facilitated through a Turkish intermediary, believed to be linked to other regional espionage networks.
