Georgia has real democracy, said Bidzina Ivanishvili, founder of the ruling "Georgian Dream" party and a candidate for Prime Minister, in an interview with "Imedi" TV.
He emphasized that relations with Washington have always been a priority for Tbilisi, and he plans to meet with the U.S. Ambassador to Georgia after the elections. However, Ivanishvili assured that resetting relations with the U.S. and other international partners depends not only on Georgia but also on their attitude.
Ivanishvili expressed that the sanctions imposed against Georgia and himself have "not worked" and have had the opposite effect.
