The Standing Committee on Foreign Relations of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia on Monday approved the bill on ratifying the regulation on the joint activities of the Armenian and Azerbaijani commissions on delimitation of the state border between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Five MPs of the aforesaid committee voted in favor of this bill while three others against.
As we have already reported, this draft law was debated on at the committee meeting on Monday.
After its approval at the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations, this bill will now be submitted for the NA approval.
According to the decision of the Constitutional Court of Armenia on September 26, the obligations stipulated in the aforementioned regulation of the border delimitation commissions of Armenia and Azerbaijan are in line with the constitution of Armenia.
The Armenian government had approved the bill on this regulation on September 5.
The regulation was signed on August 30.
