The NA Vice President Hakob Arshakyan met with the Speaker of the Parliament of Singapore Siah Kian Peng in Vientiane, capital of Laos.
The Speaker of the Parliament of Singapore noted that the relations between Armenia and Singapore are at high level and underscored with joy the mutual visits of the Prime Ministers of Armenia and Singapore in 2019.
Siah Kian Peng happily welcomed the fact of Armenia becoming observer-member of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly and the active cooperation within the framework of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.
The NA Vice President presented the Crossroads of Peace project initiated by the RA Government and the process of the peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
The Speaker of the Parliament of Singapore expressed his support to the peace process and highlighted in this process the establishment of peace and stability, excluding the manifestations of the use of force and threat of force.
The participants of the meeting expressed readiness to promote the development of the relations between the two countries.
