The NA Vice President Hakob Arshakyan and the deputy Lilit Stepanyan met with the Head of the Delegation of the National People’s Congress of China Jiang Zhenghua within the framework of their visit to the capital of Laos, Vientiane.
During the meeting Hakob Arshakyan presented the Crossroads of Peace project initiated by the RA Government.
Jiang Zhenghua noted that the Crossroads of Peace project with One Belt, One Road initiative has important cooperation paragraphs and expressed hope that there will be investments from China in that project as a part of One Belt, One Road initiative. The latter also expressed hope that in the process of the settlement of the relations in the region between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as strengthening the stability and trust in the region.
The NA Vice President underscored that the parliamentary relations are at high level and noted that the official visit of the NA delegation to China took place, as well as invited the Chinese colleagues to Armenia.
Jiang Zhenghua noted that after the visit of the NA delegation to China the direct flights Yerevan-Urumchi were operated.
The development of the political relations and the economic advancement in different directions were emphasized.
The Chinese side proposed to the Armenian companies to participate in the importing exhibitions being organized in different cities of China.
