The RA NA Vice President Hakob Arshakyan and the deputy Lilit Stepanyan met with the Secretary General of the ASEAN Parliamentary General Siti Rozaimeriyanty Dato Haji Abdul Rahman.
The NA Vice President thanked the Secretary General for supporting in providing status of observer to Armenia.
At the meeting the possible perspectives of cooperation between the RA NA and the ASEAN Parliamentary Assembly were discussed.
Siti Rozaimeriyanty Dato Haji Abdul Rahman in her turn highlighted the participation of Armenia in the works of the AIPA, considering it an important platform for establishing relations with the ASEAN PA at multilateral and bilateral levels.
The sides expressed readiness to continue the cooperation.
