On October 17, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Paruyr Hovhannisyan received the delegation of the Armenian Autonomy of Hungary, headed by Nikoghos Akopyan, the speaker of the Armenian Autonomy in the Hungarian Parliament.
During the meeting, both sides emphasized the existing interest in discovering new directions through high-level mutual visits and joint initiatives after the restoration of diplomatic relations, and discussed future plans. In the context of strengthening cooperation the Deputy Minister emphasized the significant role of the Armenian community as a unique link bridging the two countries and peoples.
The members of the delegation presented the activities of the Armenian community in Hungary, as well as the works implemented by the Armenian Autonomy.
