Sébastien Lecornu, the Minister for the Armed Forces of France, on Wednesday received Armenian Ambassador to France Hasmik Tolmajian, the Armenian Embassy to France reports.
During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed in detail the progress of defense cooperation between Armenia and France and the prospects of deepening this cooperation, including the agenda of the upcoming slated visit by the Minister of Defense of Armenia, Suren Papikyan, to France.
Besides, Ambassador Tolmajian expressed her gratitude to Minister Lecornu for his principled commitment to strengthening friendship and expanding defense cooperation between Armenia and France and for the respective steps being taken.
At the end of the meeting, Sébastien Lecornu awarded Hasmik Tolmajian with the National Defense gold medal of the Ministry of Armed Forces of France for her significant achievements during her diplomatic activities in France and significant contribution to the strengthening of the Armenian-French relations in the defense sector.
