Israel announced that the facility located in the territory of the UN peacekeeping headquarters in Lebanon was accidentally targeted.
"Israeli soldiers saw an immediate threat and returned fire. The source of the danger was located 50 meters away from the peacekeepers," said IDF's report.
It is stated that a few hours before the incident, the military urged the UN peacekeepers to find shelter.
