Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a phone conversation with Stephen Doughty, UK Minister of State for Europe, North America and Overseas Territories.
The interlocutors discussed issues on the agenda of bilateral relations aimed at further deepening the strategic dialogue between Armenia and the United Kingdom and cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
Ararat Mirzoyan and Stephen Doughty exchanged views on issues of regional stability and security. In this context Minister Mirzoyan presented the latest developments in the process of normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, in particular towards the signing of the peace treaty. The Foreign Minister of Armenia stressed the efforts of the country aimed at reaching durable peace in the region and the importance of clear positions and support of international partners in that regard.
