Some 1,722,600 tourists visited Armenia in the first 9 months of this year, the Tourism Committee of Armenian Ministry of Economy reports.
This figure is 6.88% less than for the same period last year - almost 1 million 850 thousand. Most tourists come to Armenia from Russia (43%), Georgia (12%), Iran (8%), as well as the USA (3%) and India (2%).
It is noted that only in September of this year 236,560 tourists visited Armenia, compared to 260,600 in September 2023, representing a decline of 9.23%.
