Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant has postponed a planned visit to the United States on Wednesday at the request of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, NBC News reports, citing an informed source.
A senior Israeli official told the channel that Gallant's visit was delayed because the cabinet plans to vote on whether to respond to Iran's missile strike. According to him, the trip will be postponed until the Cabinet of Ministers of the country approves the plan of retaliatory measures against Tehran.
In addition, the interviewer of the TV channel said that Netanyahu wants to talk to US President Joe Biden. And until that happens, he doesn't want Gallant to visit the United States, the official said.
