Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan on October 3 in Paris met with the Foreign Minister of Mauritania Mohamed Salem Merzoug.
The meeting took place within the framework of the OIF ministerial conference.
The FMs discussed possibilities for development of bilateral relations given Armenia’s interest to enhance cooperation agenda with countries in the African continent and Mauritania’s chairmanship in the African Union, the foreign ministry said in a readout.
They discussed the expansion of partnership in multilateral platforms based on the vision of advancing the agenda of peace and humanitarian values and respect of the key principles at the foundation of the OIF and the UN Charter.
