On September 30, the Head of the Armenia-Spain Friendship Group of the RA National Assembly Tatevik Gasparyan met with the Chargé d’affaires of the Embassy of Spain Cristina Conesa Sancho.
Welcoming the guest in parliament, Tatevik Gasparyan that in recent years, noticeable progress has been registered in the Armenian-Spanish relations, and the high-ranking officials’ bilateral meetings also promoted it.
Tatevik Gasparyan highly appreciated Cristina Conesa Sancho’s practical steps taken especially for the youth projects in the marzes of Armenia.
Touching upon the Armenia-European Union enhancing cooperation, the Head of the Friendship Group valued the interaction with Spain in that format.
Thanking Tatevik Gasparyan for reception, the Chargé d’affaires of the Embassy of Spain highlighted the Armenia-EU deepening cooperation. Cristina Conesa Sancho expressed readiness to foster the rapprochement of the inter-parliamentary ties.
Speaking about the parliamentary cooperation, the deputy emphasized the active partnership of the NA Armenia-Spain Friendship Group with her Spanish colleagues. In this context the sides discussed issues on the opportunities of the development of interaction in the parliamentary, as well as in a number of spheres.
