On September 24, the joint sitting of the Inter-Parliamentary Committees between the RA National Assembly and the House of Representatives of the Republic of Cyprus was held in Nicosia.
During the sitting detailed reference was made to the Armenia-Cyprus multi-layered relations, the inter-parliamentary cooperation was highlighted in bilateral and multi-lateral platforms.
Issues on Armenia-Azerbaijan peace process and the regional security were discussed.
The perspectives of deepening the relations between the Republic of Armenia and the European Union were touched upon, practical issues of deepening the RA-EU joint agenda were discussed.
The sides stated with joy that Armenia and Cyprus made a decision to mutually establish diplomatic representations in both capitals, which will boost the development of bilateral relations.
