On September 25, the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia, Suren Papikyan, held a tête-à-tête meeting with the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Cyprus Vasilis Palmas. This was followed by a meeting involving the extended delegations.
The Ministers highly commended the level of cooperation between Armenia and Cyprus in the defence sector. They discussed the current state of bilateral defence cooperation and explored opportunities for further development.
Also, a range of topics was discussed, including Armenia-Greece-Cyprus trilateral cooperation, ongoing reforms in the Armed Forces of Armenia and Cyprus, as well as the exchange of experiences.
Additionally, several issues concerning regional security were addressed during the discussions.
