On September 24, the delegation of the Inter-Parliamentary Committee on Cooperation between the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia and the House of Representatives of the Republic of Cyprus led by Hayk Konjoryan met with the President of the House of Representatives of Cyprus Annita Demetriou in Nicosia.
The parties highlighted the high level of the Armenia-Cyprus friendly relations and recorded that there is political will from both sides to more deepen the bilateral relations in all spheres.
The cooperation and mutual aid of the Armenian and Cypriot MPs on the multi-lateral inter-parliamentary platforms for the advancement of common agendas were discussed.
The participants of the meeting agreed to work jointly for revealing and developing new spheres of cooperation.
The sides once again recorded that Cyprus is next to Armenia, and Armenia is next to Cyprus.
