Rustam Badasyan, chairman of the State Revenue Committee (SRC), hosted the Ambassadors of the EU countries at the Margara checkpoint on Turkey border, SRC reports.
The Chairman of the committee and the diplomats toured the area of Margara checkpoint.
During the tour, they were briefed 9n the modernization of the infrastructure of the checkpoint, and the pecularities of border control.
At the Margara customs point, as in other checkpoints in Armenia, state border control is planned to be carried out on the basis of the principle of complex border management.
At the same time, during the visit, the main directions of customs reforms were presented, including trade facilitation, digitization and infrastructure modernization, as well as the projects and recorded achievements within the framework of international cooperation.
The EU Ambassadors comnended the work done at the checkpoint.
