Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Malta’s Minister of Foreign and European Affairs and Trade, Ian Borg, on the sidelines of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
Issues related to OSCE activities and decisions under Malta’s presidency within the framework of the organization were discussed.
Reference was made to the current security situation and processes in the South Caucasus.
Reaffirming the interest of the Armenian side in establishing stability in the South Caucasus, Ararat Mirzoyan emphasized the importance of refraining from support to artificial obstacles on the way to the conclusion of the peace agreement and signing the agreement within a short period of time.
