Iran's Foreign Ministry congratulated Armenia on Independence Day.
"The Islamic Republic of Iran congratulates the people, government of the friendly, neighboring country of the Republic of Armenia on their Independence Day wishing prosperity, success for Armenia and ever-growing ties between the two nations," the statement reads.
