Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko congratulated Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturian and the Armenian people on Independence Day.
"Belarus and Armenia are connected by strong ties of friendship, common history, traditional family and Christian values. Our citizens are united by the victory in the Great Patriotic War, the joint heroic overcoming of the consequences of the Spitak earthquake, participation in integration structures and close business ties," said the message of the President of Belarus.
Lukashenko also expressed confidence that in order to face the current conditions and develop successfully, we must unite and cooperate.
"In the future, Minsk will continue to advocate for the expansion of mutually respectful and constructive dialogue with Yerevan," the message said.
