On September 20, in New York, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan participated and delivered remarks at the UN Summit of the Future side event entitled "Empowering Youth for Sustainable Futures: Intergenerational Responsibility and Skills for a Just Transition", organized with the support of Armenia, Cyprus, India and Portugal.
The Deputy Minister presented the efforts of the Government of the Republic of Armenia in the direction of raising awareness and engaging the society in environmental protection and "green transformation" through "green" education.
Vahan Kostanyan touched upon the reforms of the educational system implemented by the Government of Armenia aimed at ensuring necessary conditions to provide the young generation with quality education.
Highlighting the importance of public-private partnership, the Deputy Foreign Minister briefed on a number of innovative educational initiatives providing "green education": TUMO Center for Creative Technologies, "Armath" laboratories, and "Generation AI" educational project.
