Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received the Chairman of Bank of Georgia Group Mel Carvell.
The Prime Minister welcomed Bank of Georgia's entry into the Armenian financial market and the decision to carry out investment activities in our country. Nikol Pashinyan expressed hope that the Georgian bank will bring a new culture to the financial sector of Armenia.
Mel Carvell noted that they look optimistically at the financial market of Armenia and the prospects of economic development, adding that the monetary policy of our country is balanced, which contributes to the effective implementation of investment programs.
The Chairman of Bank of Georgia Group referred to the future activities and future plans of the bank.
In the context of improving the investment environment, the both sides emphasized the Armenian Government's consistent fight against corruption and the continuity of reforms.
