Reuters. Lebanon's Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said on Thursday (September 19) that Israel has violated 'red lines' by detonating thousand of pagers across the country.
Nasrallah accused Israel in the recent attacks, which led to multiple casualties in Lebanon.
The hand-held radios were purchased by Hezbollah five months ago, around the same time as the pagers, a security source said.
At least 37 people were killed and more than 3,000 wounded when first pagers, then walkie-talkies used by Hezbollah members exploded in two waves of attacks on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Lebanon and Hezbollah say Israel carried out the attack.
