Armenia's Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said on Wednesday that he accepted Russian President Vladimir Putin’s invitation to participate in the BRICS summit in Kazan in October.
“I received an invitation from the President of the Russian Federation to participate in the BRICS summit which will take place in October in Kazan, and I accepted the invitation. Of course, it is the first time, if I remember correctly, that the head of Armenia will participate in the BRICS summit.
Obviously, there will be impressions, and I will share those impressions with our colleagues when I return,” Prime Minister Pashinyan said at the Global Armenian Summit.
Pashinyan said it will be the first time that Armenia is participating in a BRICS summit. At the same time, Pashinyan said at this moment Armenia doesn’t have an agenda of integration with BRICS.
