The journalist of the French Le Mond asked Armenia's Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan whether he is concerned about the current political situation in France, which could reduce France's influence in Europe.
"We are closely following the events taking place in France, we are sure that the people of France and the political forces always have the wisdom to find the right and reasonable solutions, whatever they may be, as long as they meet the standards of democracy, as long as they are based on the principles that once France has proposed and infected the world with them, and I am sure that France will follow that path, we can always be sure here," said Mirzoyan.
French Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs Stéphane Sejourne, responding to Armenia's Foreign Minister's speech, noted that his visit was approved by the new Prime Minister and President of France, so it can be said that this shows the continuity of the state's commitment.
"There will be no change in values, continuity will be maintained, no difference will be felt, maybe there will be a change of people in responsible positions, but the commitment will continue, my presence is also to show that."
