On September 13, within the 10th Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians of the Inter-Parliamentary Union the member of RA NA delegation to the organization, the Member of the Board of the Forum of Young Parliamentarians of the Inter-Parliamentary Union Hasmik Hakobyan and the NA deputy Vahagn Aleksanyan met with the member of the delegation of the State of Qatar Al-Mannai.
During the meeting the dynamics of the development of bilateral relations was highlighted. The Armenian delegates presented the regional developments and the procedure of negotiations on the peace treaty with Azerbaijan to their colleague from Qatar. The member of the delegation Al-Mannai expressed his support to the efforts of Armenia aimed at the establishment of the regional peace.
An agreement was reached to intensify the signature procedure of the Memorandum on Cooperation between the parliaments of the two states.
